If you missed YAPC in Houston and OSCON in Portland, you have a chance to catch another Open Source conference right here in our own backyard. RubyConf 2007 will be held Nov 2-4 at the Omni Charlotte Hotel. Tickets are $250 (more than YAPC but less than OSCON).

The RubyConf has been great! I’m really appreciative that this conference is in Charlotte. There are a lot of exciting and excited people, providing a lot of interesting conversation about product development, agile, and scrum.

I also met some peeps from http://citycliq.com. It’s an interesting new social website that combines social groups with businesses.
